How it works

Up and running before your next call.

  1. 1

    Install and pick your languages

Choose a two-way pair like English ⇄ Spanish, or one-way from any spoken language into yours.

  2. 2

    Join your call as usual

Use Zoom, Teams, or your softphone. Open Communications listens to the call audio on your computer.

  3. 3

    Read along in the overlay

Each sentence appears in the original language with the translation underneath, right on top of your call.

Built for real conversations

Everything you need, nothing in the way.

⇄

Two-way auto-detection

It hears who is speaking which language and translates each person into the other's, with no switching.

◎

Meaning-first output

It waits for the whole thought, so the translation reads like a sentence you can say out loud.

Aa

Your terminology

Add a glossary of drug names, legal terms, or product names, and they're translated the way you want every time.

▢

An overlay that stays out of the way

Drag it anywhere, resize it, and change the font and size. It stays on top of every window.

↯

Click-through mode

Press Ctrl+Alt+X and clicks pass straight through the overlay to the mute or share buttons underneath.

✓

Nothing for the other side

Patients, clients, and customers join the call the way they always do. Only you run the app.

Who it's for

For people whose calls can't afford a misunderstanding.

Professional interpreters

A second set of ears on every call. Check terminology, catch numbers and names, and keep your focus on the people.

Clinics and healthcare teams

Follow a telehealth visit in both languages, with medication names and dosages handled by your glossary.

Legal, support and service teams

Talk with clients and customers in their language on the phone system you already use.

Languages

Two-way conversations in ten languages.

Two-way mode detects these languages automatically. One-way mode covers many more, from the spoken language into yours.

  • English
  • Spanish
  • French
  • German
  • Portuguese
  • Italian
  • Dutch
  • Russian
  • Hindi
  • Japanese
