Experience is everything
We help clients to understand the web, define and adapt their business for success. Taking a user centred approach we create elegant user experiences that engage your audience and keep them coming back.
A critical aspect of developing and integrating successful applications is understanding who your users are and how they behave. We have processes for identifying and understanding user behaviour with a strong understanding of industry trends and business processes to meet your specialised needs.
Customer-focused technologies
As end users continue to raise their expectations for the online channel, a poorly designed website or application interface can severely impact a company's bottom line. We counteract this trend by creating some of the most successful solutions in terms of improved usability, increased revenue, reduced cost, and improved brand and product awareness.
Positive user experiences, web standards and engaging content are at the heart of the digital strategy.
Standards for accessibility and future proofing
We employ exclusively open source technologies to deliver scaleable, flexible and robust enterprise-ready solutions. Combined with our own in-house development expertise, the global community of open source developers guarantee that your project is future-proofed.
Supporting standards
By default we develop websites which conform with existing and emerging development standards. In detail this means we ensure technical WC3 WAI compliance and we use validated, standards-based mark up for XHTML and CSS. However, not all WC3 WAI checkpoints can be satisfied through technology alone and from our experience Level 1 or 2 compliance is usually achievable. We will provide advice on achieving higher level standards compliance and its limitations.
One accessible site
Using standards in the development of a website goes some way in ensuring future compatibility with new technology. Our sites are optimised for modern browsers but content is accessible for all visitors. Visitors with older browsers might not get the same visual presentation as visitors with modern browsers but this compromise enables us to meet accessibility standards to a far greater extent and with fewer limitations on the user experience for users with modern browsers.
